Hello! Welcome to the world of Little Dove Photography, my name is Kim. I am a professional photographer residing and working in the western suburbs of Chicago.  Most importantly, I am the mother of three lovely daughters who have naturally provided inspiration as well as countless hours of practice with posing, lighting and working with props.  My oldest daughter, continues to be one of my favorite models but it wasn’t until many years later after having my second and third child that I realized just how beautiful and fleeting the moments of childhood really are.  In a desperate attempt to capture each precious moment, I dedicated myself to documenting as much as I could of their first years of life and every moment after that!

 After receiving continued requests from friends and family to photograph their children and families, I took a leap of faith and allowed my passion for photographing babies to become my profession.  I established Little Dove Photography 4 years ago and of course expanded to include many other types photography but my favorite sessions are still newborns and babies first year.

I can tell you truly that this venture has surpassed my expectations of joy and has enabled me to follow my passion.  It is an honor and a privilege to bear witness and be entrusted to forever preserve some of the most intimate moments and treasured milestone memories in your family’s lives.  It is a responsibility I do not take lightly as many of these images will capture cherished, once in a lifetime moments.

My mission is to capture the image along with the essence of the moment so when you see the photo ten or twenty years from now it will evoke the memories of the emotions that you felt at that very moment in time.
